Call for Abstracts – SISP Conference 2026 (Trento, 3–5 September 2026)


The Italian Political Science Association (SISP) has opened the call for abstracts for its 2026 Annual Conference, which will take place in Trento from 3 to 5 September 2026.

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their paper proposals by 29 May 2026 via the official conference website: https://www.sisp.it/

Within Section 6 – Public Policies and Public Administration, Fernanda Odilla Vasconcellos De Figueiredo (University of Bologna, RESPOND project partner) is co-organizing two panels:

  • Panel 13 – “AI and the Transformation of the Public Sector: Risks, Opportunities, and Governance Challenges in Public Administration”
    This panel explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping governance, public services, and administrative practices.
  • Panel 2 – “Rethinking Anti-Corruption and Integrity amid International Challenges”
    This panel focuses on evolving integrity frameworks and anti-corruption strategies in a rapidly changing global context.

The SISP Conference is a key forum for scholarly exchange, offering participants the opportunity to engage in critical debates, present emerging research, and build new collaborations.

Submission guidelines:
Abstracts (maximum 6,000 characters) must be submitted by 29 May 2026 through the conference website: https://www.sisp.it/. Applicants are asked to select Section 6 – Public Policies and Public Administration and indicate the relevant panel.
