LEGDAT: A Global Infrastructure for the Study of Legislative Processes and Lawmaking


Description: LEGDAT is a new dataset that captures the advancement of bills and laws in 16 countries, comprising over 350,000 bills and 60,000 laws. LEGDAT standardizes information on bill initiation, committee referral, legislative stages, final votes, passage or rejection, and post-enactment modifications.
