Marcia Grimes
Marcia Grimes is a Professor at the Political Science Department and researcher at the Quality of Government Institute, University of Gothenburg. Her research interests include the role of civil society in combatting corruption, as well as how corruption inversely can affect citizens’ political engagement both in terms of intensity, forms of engagement, and political demands state. In the RESPOND project, her focus is on campaign finance and lobbying, and understanding how these practices may intersect with politicians’ decision-making in ways suggestive of corruption.

Jana Schwenk is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg and affiliated with the Quality of Government institute. Her research investigates the consequences of party finance, intraparty democracy, and corruption. Within the RESPOND project, she is involved in the work package investigating party finance and lobbying, and responsible for the data collection effort on party finance data.

Jana Schwenk
Frida Boräng
Frida Boräng is an associate professor at the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg and affiliated with the Quality of Government Institute. Her research centers around questions of interest groups and lobbying, state capacity, and immigration policy in comparative and historical perspective, as well as political integration of immigrants.

Marina Nistotskaya is a professor in Political Science at the University of Gothenburg and affiliated with the Quality of Government institute. Her research investigates how public bureaucracies are organized around the world, causes and consequences of autonomous bureaucracies, and state capacity and democratization.
