An interactive map documenting and exposing systemic corruption in Hungary’s tourism sector. It focuses on how politically connected businessmen linked to the NER (National Cooperation System) are acquiring and controlling tourism assets through preferential treatment, concessions, and misuse of public and EU funds. The project collects investigative articles into a public database that tracks cases such as hotels bought by government cronies, public properties sold or rented far below market value, sudden takeovers by political patrons, and EU-funded countryside accommodations later used for private benefit.
