Resisting Corruption, Rescuing Democracy

 On International Anti-Corruption Day, December 9, 2025, the Sedas Nunes Auditorium (ICS‑UL) will host the launch of the research projects RESPOND and PESR, dedicated to exploring new ways to fight corruption and strengthen democratic ethics. The morning, organized by Transparency International – Portugal (TI‑PT), will feature opening remarks, a keynote address, and debates on the challenges of integrity in public life. In the afternoon, national and international researchers will present the first results of the projects, addressing topics such as party ethics self‑regulation and the impact of corruption in digital societies. A unique gathering to reflect and act in defense of democracy.
