Elisa Orlando

Elisa Orlando, anti-corruption advocate for the Italian NGO Libera, specialises in community-based monitoring and integrity education. With Libera, she provides training for local communities engaged in civic monitoring, conducts research for activism, and advances advocacy actions. She is a member of UNODC’s YouthLED Integrity Advisory board.

Leonardo Ferrante is a member of Libera’s National Directorate and, since 2016, the coordinator of the Civic Monitoring sector. He is dedicated to promoting, supporting, and equipping monitoring communities with the necessary knowledge and tools. He believes that these communities are not only the watchdogs but also the guide dogs of democracy.

Monica Usai is a Program Manager at Libera, coordinating the CHANCE and PLACE networks. She manages projects across Africa and Europe, focusing on justice, civic participation, and crime prevention through cross-border collaboration and systemic solutions.
Agnese Zingaretti works in Libera’s training sector and is an active member of its Rome secretariat. She develops educational pathways, focusing on youth workers and community animators in both formal settings like schools and non-formal contexts such as volunteer networks. She contributes to strengthening civic awareness and anti-mafia engagement through education and participatory initiatives.
